One Room Challenge: Wk.3

It’s Week 3 of @oneroomchallenge and I’m definitely the 🐢 in the race getting to the finish line … which is only 5 weeks away so YIKES! 😳 Oh well, someone has to be last right? 😉.

Ordered the @hamptonbay furniture from @homedepot and the area rug from @rugs.com less than a week ago and just like that, they’re already here! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Next will be ordering throw pillows, the fandelier, screen door, hardware, artwork and decor, plus … will be buying all the lumber, nails and paint too.

Can’t believe how many hours I’ve already spent researching and watching YouTube videos about building screen porches. Even cornered 3 different sales associates @homedepot to pick their brains about lumber, tools and screen doors. They were so patient and really helpful but I’m sure they were scratching their heads after I left. Not many women my age are out buying a nail gun, impact driver, 2x4’s, and a screen door for a project they’re working on by themselves! 😂

Believe me, these days my head is swimming with so much information that it’s now all a blur. I’m even dreaming about project details every night! It’s so crazy but so exciting. I’m loving every minute of it. And I know it’ll all be worth it when I get to sip an icy cold Prosecco with my wonderful daughter toasting her pretty new porch.

In the meantime, the demo dust is gonna start to fly soon! Can’t wait! And really hope you’ll follow along to see what 70 👩🏻‍🦳 can do! See you next week! 😊
